About Anger Management Technique

Dealing with anger is never easy, since people always have to face problems and reasons for conflict but our anger management technique is crucial. We have to deal with price increases, arguments, war, violence, crime, everyday common stupidity and continuous interruptions. There is not one person in this sometimes difficult world that has not gotten mad at some point.

Anger is an emotion we all have to deal with. Ever since that first famous lie, the world has become more and more unpredictable and continues to worsen as the years roll by. We can examine how a lie can instigate anger by looking at an individual case – a person engaged in criminal activities, such as stealing, writing bad checks, and selling prescription medications. Now this person had to deceive, since she felt that her behaviour and actions were her only possible means of getting through life.

So, she started lying to cover up her wrong-doing. As time went by, that person became angry and could not cope, simply as a result of the way she was behaving, her way of thinking, the way she was conducting her life and her poor anger management technique. She began to react like anyone else suffering from uncontrolled anger would behave.

This included, putting others down, insulting others, verbally and physically assaulting, threatening, belittling and mocking others. The woman was diagnosed with a mental disorder, Post traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar. She also had health issues, including diabetes. Now if we look at all the aspects of that person’s anger and her anger management technique, we can see, if we search deep enough, that her lying, which caused paranoia, was the root cause of her behavioral problems.

Many people have a problem with anger management technique. Many of the people with post traumatic stress disorder act angrily reacting to a flashback in memory. This is right! Persons with post traumatic stress disorder often suppress their emotions. When they are violent or angered it is often because they are fighting the source that caused their trauma and not the person in their present vicinity.

However, we do not see this as the reason for the woman’s anger, since she did not show signs of it to the public. Therefore, people would exclude posttraumatic stress disorder as the cause, or at least skip over the chance of it. Now let’s take a look at diabetes, since this illness affects the nerves. The shortage of insulin creates additional problems, and many people with diabetes will become upset for little or no reason at all.

However, most people do not behave angrily, assault, insult or attack others . If we look at why crimes are committed, we see that very often, serious behavioural problems come from having told lies. Therefore, when we look at this woman’s situation again, we can see that we have to think about the underlying problems that is her lying and get her to move forward, avoiding bouts of frustration, anxiety and anger by using some form of anger management technique.

However, this person is in denial, which means that until the legal system forces her to study anger management technique, she probably will not get seek herself. Furthermore, even if the criminal justice system does force her to get assistance, it probably won’t work, because her denial has existed for undoubtedly many years. So, now we are dealing with a real problem in anger management technique , since her behaviour has been life long, which means extensive therapy isneeded.

Anger is a normal emotion, but when it interferes with another person’s life, it becomes a serious problem. This person is not hurting only one person, she is injuring everyone, since when she steals or writes bad cheques, society pays by tax increases, as well as other increases. One of the worst things that I have noticed with this type of person, is that the system and society allows it to continue; only addressing it when the person is in custody. Once the person is released, then it continues again. This is a chain of events involving lack of control due to anger mis-management and bad anger management technique.

Tips to Succeed When Working With a Personal Trainer

As a personal trainer for 10 years, I have worked with clients as infrequently as once a month and as frequently as 6 times a week. A good rule of thumb is the less experience and knowledge you have about exercise, the more necessary it is to meet frequently especially in the beginning. Maybe you have been working out a long time but you still need that accountability so one weekly appointment is enough. Some people are motivated to workout on their own and just want to ‘check-in’ once a month to get some new material. There is no right answer because it depends on your particular needs and wants. Below are my recommendations:

The less experienced you are, the more often I recommend meeting with a trainer especially in the beginning. Maybe three times a week for 4 weeks. After you’ve learned enough of the basics you could start to see the trainer less frequently. Here’s why: People that don’t know much about exercise and form have a lot to learn and that’s what the trainer is there for. In the beginning I suggest doing all of your weight workouts supervised by a trainer until your form is really good. I call it my ‘high five of approval’. I will not send a client off to do weight lifting exercises on their own until I am 100% confident that their form is great. Otherwise, the result is that they may do it wrong and end up with an injury. Exercising on your own is a decision that you and your trainer should make together. Create momentum in the beginning.

Working with a trainer frequently in the beginning will help to create the momentum you need to get you over the ’stage 1′ hurdle. Also, if you’re a beginner you have a lot to learn. A trainer will show you how to do things correctly so you don’t end up with an injury. As you feel more comfortable with the exercises and as your trainer becomes confident that you are doing everything correctly, you can expect that you will become more confident and be able to work out on your own.

Lots of people know what to do at the gym but they can’t seem to get to the gym. If you know you have a hard time making it happen I suggest maintaining a weekly appointment with a trainer. So often my clients will say to me “I never would have come today if we didn’t have this appointment.” Accountability is a perfectly fine reason to have a trainer. Keeping that appointment on the calendar ensures that weeks and months aren’t going to go by without working out. It’s easy to blow off a workout we schedule with ourselves it’s a lot harder to blow off a workout scheduled with you trainer.

Of course another big part of this decision is how much you can afford. I suggest figuring out your budget and telling your trainer what you can spend. Then ask your trainer what they think would be the best way to spread out the sessions. I always encourage my beginner clients to do more sessions in the begging and then start spreading the gap. So, let’s say my beginner client can do 10 sessions. I would do 3 appointments the first 2 weeks, 2 appointments the following week and 1 appointment for the last 2 weeks. Here’s why: Practicing repeatedly with your trainer will ensure that you know the correct way to exercise using good form so that you won’t hurt yourself. Also, it’s very important in the beginning of any exercise program to get off to a good start. Meeting your trainer frequently will help you gain the momentum you need to carry you through a successful long-term program.

Remember you don’t have to sign on for a package of sessions right away. Take your time in deciding if you have picked the right person and if you want to keep working with them. It may seem like a lot of money but if you re lucky enough to find a trainer you enjoy and you’re getting results, I am confident that it will be worth every dime!

How does anger management play a role in domestic violence? Simply put, most people that abuse their spouse in this type of situation, are angry due to an antisocial disorder lying deep in that person’s mind. Anger is one of the leading characteristics of personality disorder, which include paranoia, schizophrenia, schizoid, antisocial, psychopathic, histrionic and sociopathic personalities.

Most people who are abusive in relationships have anti-social personalities. The anti-social personality type often attacks when he or she is drunk or under the influence of some other drug. This is not true in all cases of course, but it is true in most circumstances. Anti-social personality types often disregard rules and regulations and usually feel that they have the right to do so. Anti-social personality types are controlling and if you do not conform to their authority, they often show their anger in a controlling or violent way.

Anti-social personality types will humiliate, intimidate, brutally physically abuse and mentally belittle, but anger and domestic abuse doesn’t stop there. This type of individual has never been proven a good candidate for anger management. In other words, men that batter their wives will most likely continue to do so until someone gets seriously injured. It is not wise to engage with these types, as there is rarely any hope of recovery. This type will often beat a person, until death becomes the focus. This means someone could die, since this sort of person will become angrier through the years and will rarely ask for help in anger management for domestic violence.

Even if he or she does get anger management help for domestic violence, it quite often doesn’t work. Therefore, it is not recommended to start a relationship with this sort of person. The signs are a wild appearance or wild expressions, laughing for no apparent reason, laughing at a situation where a person was humiliated, outbursts of anger for no apparent reason et cetera. This type of person is superficial and will often lead you to believe that he or she is a model for society, when behind closed doors the brute appears.

Of course, hate is the underlying cause of this person’s rage, and hatred has been proven to kill. Often deep-seated jealousy also underlies the anger issues within these types of people. Many of these angry people take drugs, like cocaine, crack, marijuana and others. They often exceed the safety limit of alcohol consumption and this only increases the liklihood of them flying into a rage.

One example of bad anger management and domestic violence can be seen in a small town called Dowagiac in Michigan. A man attempted to kill several women but was allowed to walk the streets. Little anger management help was provided to this person, and often his outrageous attacks were simply because he could not control the victims involved. The victims were left without justice, and a few even believed that he would change his angry ways.

Pretty soon he was sitting in the county jail on a number of charges, including assault of a police officer and hit and run. The police, according to witnesses, claim that the criminal had a weapon and was drunk when he tried to elude arrest and marijuana was found in his vehicle. This person had a continuous history of brutality but the justice system let those victims down, which led to more anger management problems.

Another example of anger is in borderline personality types. These people when feeling abandoned will attack others. Sometimes they are physically abusive, while most of the time they are verbally and mentally abusive. All the spouse has to do is go to work and when he or she returns home, most likely she or he will be accused of something.

The abusive person might even call the workplace of the spouse numerous times to verify that he or she is not spending time with someone else. This is another type of angry person that rarely gets better, and like the anti-social personality types, these people are just as dangerous and manipulative.

Paranoid personality types are also dangerous and manipulative but their anger is almost impossible to predict. In most cases, these types react to voices heard inside or outside their head. Like the antisocial types, the paranoid type seldomly has justifiable reason for their behaviour. Usually, it is just a control issue. This means that if the victim is uncontrollable, the paranoid person will react angrily and violently.
